Shaped by an interesting and uncommon recent history, Cuba offers a very unique scenery. Havana’s streets are filled with beautiful classic colonial architecture and a general atmosphere that cannot be found anywhere else. 1950’s Classic cars, cigar smoking and rum drinking elderlies, domino playing men, kids playing baseball with makeshift bats… every corner of the island is a wonderful film set.
Cuba is also home to some of the world’s most beautiful white sand beaches and tropical countrysides.
Cuba has a rich and long history of film making; undoubtedly the most important one in the Centro-American/Caribbean region. Cuban crews are highly trained. The great legacy of cinema created an impressive production know-how over the years.
Casting is good and varied. Although equipment can be considered sparse, extra equipment can easily be brought in from neighbouring countries.
The recent renewal of relationships with the US has brought in a tremendous improvement in the tourism and traveling infrastructures, with a constant growth of daily flights coming from Europe and the United States.
